Nothing but full of cowards. Ever since the islands were made, they did whatever they could to make sure they wouldn't lose power. People don't see the things I do, They agreed to a randomly selected council composed of around a hundred members but there was at least a cry for equality before everyone would roll over.
How can everyone run the city if not everyone was given equal opportunity? What about education, healthcare, livelihoods? At first it looked fine, mandatory education, city transportation that runs like clockwork so no one needs to drive themselves, and a base income. But the propositions for proper healthcare led to two major events: mandated supplements, with little land we couldn't go back to farming and had to make do with a pill-based diet. And we no longer provide for the elderly, they lose most health benefits by 80. Can't even get a decent meal and they leave you out to dry. But it seems fair since everyone will get the same treatment right?
